"Ku Che" and Uncle Edwards' Wedding
7-Dec-08: The Chinese Wedding Ceremony was held on this day. The groom (Edward) came with his gang of guy friends to pick up Steven's sister (Ghyn Nyee). However, the challenge of entering the house was unpredictable as Ghyn Nyee's gang of girl friends came out with challenging ideas for the guys to do.
Well, when the guys manage to go thru the challenges, they and the precious groom were allowed to meet the bride! Then, the couple will have a prayer to the Guan Yin goddess and ancestor worship and followed by tea ceremony. The tea ceremony is where the couple will serve tea for the elders and followed by the children queing up to receive red packets from the couples. After the tea ceremony, the couple left to their own home for another round of tea ceremony for Edward's family members and we have lunch catered from Master Chef Catering Services.
8-Dec-08: WEDDING DINNER: The wedding dinner was held at Bukit Jalil Golf and Country Club at 7.30pm.
*****photos coming soon.......................:D stay tuned

Another new friend
Souled Out, Sri Hartamas
New Stuffs!!
-He can hold and shake the rattle
3) Colorful chimes on his car seat. Auntie Lily gave Xavier when he was 1 month plus. However, that time, he was not reacting to it until 3 months plus. Hence, I decided to hang it on his car seat to entertain him while Steven or I drive. He will hit the chimes and they sounds! So cute!
4) Xavier's most awakening look! This was taken in a coffee shop in Brickfields. First time that he looks like a doll. In the second photo is another chime which I bought for him to entertain him too. It's brand is NUBY (forgot the price). It's a long legged frog. Xavier loves to pull it's leg and sometimes bite the foot. Poor froggy....Besides that, Xavier likes to put his fingers into his mouth now..I guess it's teething time!!
Festive Seasons Visitings - Hari Raya and Deepavali
Xavier's first Hari Raya visiting was on 25th October 2008. The honourable host was Rotarian Rasah (I hope that I spelled correctly). She is the member of the Rotary Club of Danau Desa.
Xavier's first Deepavali visiting was on the Deepavali Eve (26th October 2008) at another member of the Rotary Club of Danau Desa, Rotarian Karsi.
On the 27th Oct 2008, Rotaractor Neeraj invited us to his house. We were happy to catch up with the Rotaractors and Ryzers since we haven't meet them for a very long time.

Last weeks' Happenings
He can enjoy looking and chatting with me while I fold the clothes, watch tv....(SAFETY NOTE: the seat MUST be used with adult supervision)
He can enjoy his reading while on the seat...
SAFETY NOTE: It is recommended to use the harness so that the baby can get used to it. This seat can be strapped on a chair as a feeding chair. Also, if anyone read about the recall of this product online, I have checked and this unit is not the recall unit.
11-Oct-08 (11.30am): Steven , Xavier and I met Bong and Olivia in Jusco Serdang. Bong is now doing some online business for rock bottom price items and I bought a brooch and a pair of earrings from her.
Bong told us that Olivia loves sitting on the shopping trolley..such a cutie!

Xavier's Baptism
Quoted from the book of "Catechism of the Catholic Church"
The Baptism of infants
Born with a fallen human nature and tainted by original sin, children also have need of the new birth in Baptism to be freed from the power of darkness and brought into the realm of the freedom of the children of God, to which all men are called. The sheer gratuitousness of the grace of salvation is particularly manifest in infant Baptism. The Church and the parents would deny a child priceless grace of becoming a child of God were they not to confer Baptism shortly after birth.
Christian parents will recognize that this practice also accords with their role as nurturers of the life that God has entrusted to them.

Xavier's first outstation trip
I suggested Sungai Congkak in Hulu Langat as I miss the waterfall and the fresh greeneries. I can imagine myself sitting on the rocks with Xavier while Steven went cool dipping and feeling the cool fresh mountain water. However, I had to forget this trip today as I am worried that the place is close due to the Hari Raya since the officers are Malays.
Finally, Steven proposed a day trip to Genting Highland. I agreed. We invited the mother in law with Steven's youngest brother Keith. We left the house around noon and head off to Genting, which is an hour away from our place. On the way, we stopped by for lunch in Old Town White Coffee. After the nice meal, we head off to Genting. The way up was winding that Xavier keeps complaining. I guess that he is not used to the terribly winding road or the pressure as we were heading up the mountain. When we reach there, there were so many cars and we went around for the car park but we couldn't find any good place to park. Hence, Steven gave up and suggested that we should go to Bukit Tinggi, which is located in Pahang.
The first stop at Bukit Tinggi is the Berjaya Hills Golf and Country Club. I couldn't see the golf area except a horse range and riding area.
Horse riding is RM 25 for 10 mins (Peak & non-peak time)
The horses there have nice shades with enclosures. There are even wood blind to shade from the sun, maybe.
After taking some photos, we head off to the Japanese Village by car. However, along the road to the Japanese Village, we need to pay for entrance. RM 10 per adult and RM 8 per child. The entrance fee is for the Japanese Village, Rabbit Farm and Colmar Tropicale.
We parked our car at the car park, then took a tram up the hill abit. Then the tram drop us at the waiting area.
Along the way to the Japanese village from the waiting area.
The lovely Japanese Garden (the only one in tropical country-Malaysia..oh..)
After the green walk at the Japanese Garden (we didn't really see a Japanese Village anyway), we went up to the Colmar Tropicale, which is also called French Village.
I put Xavier in the baby pouch so that he can sleep.

Shaolin kungfu baby
We went to Steven's regular Aunty hair stylist and they were thrilled to see Steven's baby. We told them that we are sending the baby for a hair cut. Then the aunty said "crew cut"...then continue in cantonese... then another aunty said "botak..botak".. then continue in cantonese.. which I didn't manage to catch the sentences.. I told her "NO crew cut, botak OK". Then, there goes Xavier's spiky hair...
Here's Xavier, suddenly he looks like a Shaolin kungfu baby.
Almost done!
